''...guide to poker networks, detailing the best, biggest, and most reliable network operators...."
You'll quickly find that many of the leading sites run on 'shared' poker networks - using shared player bases, prizes, game types and software. Poker networks include such well know names as Microgaming and Boss Media, but there are dozens of different networks all handling different poker rooms.

The sizes of the individual poker networks are not necessarily indicative of their popularity, you'll find that some of the most popular rooms use their own poker software on their own dedicated networks. PokerStars is a great example of this, but others include Full Tilt Poker and Party Poker.

I'm building a resource here which details the different poker networks and explains which ones are shared, and via which specific poker sites. This is a big task, and is expected to be completed by end Dec 2009.

For now, here's the link to a Google search on poker networks which will give you some detailed information. The different poker networks are listed below.....

888
Action Poker
Bodog Poker
Boss Media
Cake Poker   Red Star Poker
Cereus
Cryptologic
Entraction
Full Tilt
iPoker   Bet365   William Hill
Merge Gaming  Carbon Poker
Party Poker
Ongame
Prima Poker
PokerStars
Absolute Poker
Everest

As always, the major search engines at Google, Yahoo, and MSN/Bing will return substantial results on any search for'poker networks'.
